About Us

Inaugurated in 1925, the Wadebridge Festival has a long and successful history of providing a platform for Cornish musicians, young and old, to share their passion for both music and the spoken word; it is a well attended, friendly festival enjoyed by so many.

Over the six day festival, individuals, music ensembles, choirs and schools compete to win trophies across a range of categories. Subject to entries, the festival runs from Monday to Saturday inclusive.

The Wadebridge Festival of Music and Speech is a member of the British and International Federation of Festivals as are all adjudicators.

Members of the public are warmly invited to attend all competition sessions at the Town Hall in Wadebridge.
